Position Overview

The Assistant Manager, Human Resource Department, will be responsible for overseeing and executing all talent acquisition and HR operations activities for our manufacturing plant in Dahej, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources with a focus on
recruiting top talent and managing HR functions to ensure a productive and positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified candidates.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and selecting candidates.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand their hiring needs and create job descriptions.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, such as job boards, social media, and employee referrals, to find potential candidates.
  • Maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

HR Operations

  • Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and
    integration into the company.
  • Manage employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions, in accordance with company policies.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and answer employee queries related to benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Training and Development

  • Identify training needs and coordinate employee training and development programs.
  • Assist in the creation of career development plans for employees.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.

Employee Engagement

  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities and events.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes employee satisfaction and
    retention.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Prepare HR reports and analytics to track key metrics, such as turnover rates, recruitment
    effectiveness, and employee engagement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on HR data analysis.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on talent acquisition and HR operations.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
