Technical Know/How
- Must be able to read part and assembly blueprints and understand Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Thorough knowledge of interpreting part list/ BOM, the material used, finishing operations to be performed, notes, references, etc.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer-aided drafting.
- Basic Knowledge of aircraft assembly methodologies and process flow.
- Working knowledge of (Type certified) TC and (Supplementary type certificate) STC Kits.
Functional
- Knowledge of Aerodynamic principles, aircraft mechanical and avionics systems, and different
types of aero structure concepts, knowledge of Airframe. - Experience in reviewing drawings and concepts before release to ensure the design is optimal for
manufacturing. - Working Knowledge of Configuration analysis, Engineering Change analysis.
- Aware of Aerospace manufacturing quality requirements like AS9100, NADCAP requirements.
- Conceptual clarity and working knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering.
